The
VS300 Video Fiber Scope removes concerns for eye safety while inspecting optical
fiber
connectors. The design eliminates the optical path to the eye by utilizing a
miniature camera
and a state-of-the-art micro-display that achieves unparalleled clarity and
resolution. The VS300 is modeled after the functionality of our highly successful
OFS300 product line with the following improvements:
• The VS300 has no optical path to the user’s eye.
• The VS300 has NTSC video output.
• The VS300 has the familiar shape and control positions of the OFS 300
but is half the weight and has a molded easy grip case with easy access battery
ompartment.

OFS 300 Optical Fiber Scope v
The
OFS 300 is a versatile instrument for the inspection of optical fiber connectors.
By employing universal adapter cap mount, it can inspect virtually any connector
style for scratches, dirt, or other problems normally associated with poor transmission
performance. The OFS 300 offers 60 hours of continuous battery life. A 2.5mm
universal
adapter cap, holster, and user's guide are included with OFS 300 scopes.

The
VFS 1 is a portable video microscope designed to inspect fiber optic connectors
through bulkhead adapters. The VFS 1 can be used to inspect fiber optic connectors
installed in patch panels, distribution frames, network equipment, and test
equipment. It consists of an inspection probe with an internal LED coaxial light
source, a miniature CCD video camera, and a high resolution active matrix LCD
display unit.
